About Hannah Mackay-Jackson

I'm Project Coordinator at the Shipley Art Gallery, where my role is focused on community engagement and audience development.

I organise events and activities designed to help people enjoy the gallery, and experience it in new and exciting ways. These include evening events, such as the popular 'Shipley Lates' series, and 'The Late Shows'; participatory workshops where people of all ages can get creative; community groups that meet at the Shipley; guided tours; collaborative projects with Gateshead's Jewish community; and Creative Baby! - a popular monthly group for under one year olds, inspired by the exhibitions.

I love the variety of working with communities, and hope this blog will give you some insight into the wide range of projects I enjoy developing at the Shipley Art Gallery.
