About Emily Marsden

I'm the Curator of the Hatton Gallery, which means I have overall responsibility for exhibitions, education and public programmes, as well as the Hatton's collection and the general visitor experience. I'm also currently working on a major redevelopment project for the Hatton.

Before joining the Hatton I spent seven years as an Exhibitions Curator at The New Art Gallery in Walsall, whereas as well as working on major exhibitions I developed a successful artist in residence programme for emerging artists. My first arts job was as assistant to the Director at Site Gallery in my home city of Sheffield.
